Sound ideas is on location recording small vintage engine sounds. A large variety of vintage engines were involved in the session - including both vintage steam engines as well as antique gas powered engines.
We were honored to be involved in preserving the vintage engine sounds of history for future generations. Each vintage engine we recorded was painstakingly restored to what they would have looked and sounded like more than 100 years ago - allowing Sound Ideas to participate in the act of capturing the sounds of history.
